Hi Jennifer,
I'm greatful for your question. Thank you for taking the time to ask it.
I have copied the dosage section from rxlist.com for Premarin Vaginal Cream below:
"Dosage Forms And Strengths
Each gram contains 0.625 mg conjugated estrogens, USP.
Combination package: Each contains a net wt. 1.06 oz (30 g) tube with plastic applicator(s) calibrated in 0.5 g increments to a maximum of 2 g, or a net wt. 1.5 oz (42.5 g) tube with one plastic applicator calibrated in 0.5 g increments to a maximum of 2 g."
Jennifer, in order to get the days supply, we would have to know the SIG/directions. Once we know that, we can figure the days supply.
The Premarin vaginal cream medication comes with a plastic applicator, which is calibrated for doses between 0.5 grams and 2 grams. If the dose is 0.5 grams, then the medication should last 60 days (0.5 grams x 60 = 30 grams) divided by 0.5 = 60 days). If the dose is 1 gram per day, then it would last 30 days (1 gram x 30 = 30 grams). If the dose is 2 grams daily, then the days supply is 15 (2 grams x 15 = 30 grams).
Patient is prescribed 10g of Glucose. The glucose is presented as a 5% solution in 500ml Saline. How much of the 5% dextrose saline solution do you need
